Charley Hull has lifted the lid on one golf fan's hilarious attempt to hit on her after she went viral for smoking a cigarette on the course.
The world No 8 was filmed signing autographs with a lit cigarette in her mouth earlier this week at Lancaster Country Club. The clip quickly flooded social media and even sparked comparisons with John Daly.
Hull admitted she has enjoyed the extra circus but the British player remains slightly baffled why the video caused such a stir online.
'It's actually quite funny,' she said. 'I don't know - all over a cigarette, I suppose.
'But I genuinely was walking to the range and had my hands full. Someone asked me for an autograph and I'm not going to say no because I always like signing autographs for them.

'I just had a cigarette in my mouth, signed it and then it's gone viral. I don't know. It's just one of those things. It's been crazy.'
One supporter decided to shoot his shot with Hull, finding a sneaky way to hand over his number in an effort to take her on a date.
'The fans have been shouting my names this week,' she continued. 'Someone said I dropped something and then handed their phone number on a piece of paper in my hand.
'I thought that was so funny - it was like: "Here's my number, text me so we can figure out where I'm taking you out for dinner tonight."
Alas, the man's effort went without reward. 'I never texted them obviously. But it was just so funny,' Hull added. 'It's been a bit of a wild week, pretty cool and I wish the crowds were like this more often.'
